Awe yes, Todays Feb 23, 2014 I'm back online! Took a couple months but have been bizzy, bizzy, bizzy. Breeding like a madman over here! Gotta get some photos up soon!
Hatchling season almost complete, this year was amazing! I actually ran out of space and needed to order new hatchling racks to house all my new babies. Had some huge surprises, as well as some huge disapointments. Which all turn out fine in the end, I always think about the dissapointments as something else to look forward to in the future.
Recently hatched 4 eggs from a lavender albino X het lavender albino. My first two clutches of this season should have had lavender albinos (clutch records), now I know were they went! All four were lavender albino's this time :-)
Checked the rodents this morning, I am having a difficult rat season. I thought it was because of the heat, well found out a majority of my sippers were clogged and the rodents have been drinking just enough water to look fine, but not enough to reproduce. Dummy me, again!
Christmas in July, Look what Santa dropped of for me this morning :-)
I Love getting emails like this:
The two snow girls have just arrived, you were totally right and I am very pleasantly surprised, they do look like twins(I'll have difficulty telling these two apart from one another. what absolute gorgeous snow gems these two are(perfect examples of the gene if ever I've seen any.thanks soo much once more (I simply can't express how much these two girls mean to me and my collection)Once again Rich, you truly are the best. take care
Extremely Best Regards Marc"
Thank you Marc! Enjoy those beauties :-)
Well, you can always tell when hatchling season arrives. Facebook starts blowing up with outstanding clutch shots & hatchling photos. Lots of amazing ball python creations being produced right now. Very exciting times! If you are lucky, you can also witness some nice catfights and hissyfits over this that and the other thing. Reality & drama posts are also so much fun to read! Can't wait so see who goes toe to toe this season, lol.
I was contacted recently by my good friends from The Southern Nevada Herp. Society to present a Ball Python Lecture, at the end of summer. I'm really looking forward to get out into public again, maybe I'll take a few goodies to show and a nice raffle item as well, more details coming soon!
Green Ghost with het daughter, I believe this is one of they key elements needed to create a blue ball. Think about it, mixing blue & yellow make green, well why not take the yellow away, what's left?
